Nagasaki

I think Nagasaki is quite an interesting places to learn about the result of the war especially the second world war. Anyway it is still be the issue until today about atomic bomb. Many people are also wondering that this destroying is because of the cruelty of America or Japan's fault that they dropped bomb in Pearl harbour without warning.
What dimension we should look at Nagasaki?
The regretful residue from the war or the evidences of Empowering country beating small country.
